Yep so I do really play my game; I don't just build all the time. :> I DID move Nina and Dina into that apartment I built and then I moved Malcolm Landgraab into the penthouse I built a while back.
If you're at all interested in seeing various shenanigans or lack thereof (I just randomly snap pictures lol)then come right this way!

I have a tiny gift. I hope that I did everything right; I haven't uploaded a lot anywhere besides the Exchange, which was ages ago so what does that tell you?

The first link is for the apartment with Numenor's unlevel walls.
The second one is regular walls (I forgot about the unlevel walls) and also is zoned residential so you can do what you like.

Graffiti Lamp Recolors.

If you happen to read my livejournal, you know I've been working on trying to make transparent, glass lamps. I had succeeded but wasn't pleased with how they turned out due to some issues with the mesh (I couldn't make it work :<). So I scoured some sites for some nice meshes and I found the perfect one at mangosims!

From what I can tell, Mangosims is okay with recolors but not including the meshes. So to get the mesh, get the lamp from set Graffiti. It is page 2 of "Other" or "Autres".
Here is what you get:
~~Two~~ Five recolors of the lamp base (in no particular order: purple, turquoise, green, orange, and plain glass) and one recolor of the shade with both a lit and unlit texture. Forgive the shitty preview but I don't have much experience with those. :>

Let me know if the download link works. I haven't used box myself but I really like using it to download from it with other users. :>

ETA: I suppose I need a TOU...basically, I don't care. Use 'em and abuse 'em. Include in lots, whatever. Just give me credit. I'll stick this on my profile page.

Eco House

I finally built something. Yay!
The idea behind this house is that it's eco-friendly. Recycled woods, terrazzo floors, cement countertops, etc. I mean. It's the sims but that's what I'm imagining here.
I'm really only showing the bottom floor because that's all I felt like doing. :>

For once, my DW will get first lovin' as LJ is down. Again. Also, I think I might have figured out what I want my focus to be for my major. I am excited.

I kind of opened up the game today and actually played for a while. But I just couldn't get into it so I kind of mindlessly opened up an old lot and furnished a few rooms in this apartment. I was quite pleased with the end result, given my lack of enthusiasm. :> It's just because I'm feeling sick, not a lack of interest in the Sims.

Anyways.
Without further ado.

I built a house I had been dreaming about based on this one here. It was for Sims 3 and I thought it was a gorgeous layout so I wanted to try and build it for Sims 2. I tried to keep the colors the same and stuff but I ended up branching off and doing my own thing for some of it. It's not finished but I'm kind of excited about it. She did a great job.

Okay. And then I'm building a downtown area for my Belladonna Cove. And this is just to demonstrate what it looks like with all the new neighborhood deco I put in.

And then I worked on some new apartment lots I'll be shrinking and hooking up.

I've got a few potential projects going on in my head. I'm going to build up Belladonna Cove and then I want to gut Pleasantview and do a bunch of makeovers. :D

And so ends my first dreamwidth post ever.
